Volckerinckhove Tourism
The Tourist Information Office "Volckerinckhove Tourism"
Volckerinckhove has long been a prosperous farming village, witnessing the beautiful farms scattered throughout the countryside.
The village, like all the villages of Flanders, was limited to a few houses of renters and merchants lining up along a street.
Volckerinckhove has managed to maintain its ancestral appearance by replanting hedges preserving part of its bocage. A few "Cabarette" apple trees, a variety originating in the village, line the street where a raghouse dated 1668 (now the tourist office) has been reassembled.
Volckerinckhove has been awarded the "Village Heritage ©" label.
