Memory trails
The Tourism Office of the «Hauts de Flandre» works on a Memory trail project following the WWII key events, in partnership with the Plaine au bois French-British association and the Fédération Française de Randonnée Pédestre (FFRP).
The trail will trace the events of May 28, 1940 prior to Dynamo Operation.
In the meanwhile, if you wish to discover this period of Flanders history, visit the Plaine au bois site and the Plaine au bois museum at Esquelbecq.
